    MyNYC Columbia Mentoring Program

    • Manhattan Center for Science and Math has developed an extensive mentoring program with Columbia University, in conjunction with the DOE and Community Impact, a Columbia University umbrella organization.
    • MyNYC, the mentoring program, developed its mission toward introducing our students to the college environment.
    • Our students prepare for the college application process via individual and group meetings with mentors who are CU students of many backgrounds and college majors.
    • The Mentors and Mentees participate in a variety of group programs, including SAT Preparation, College Application Essay preparation, and analysis of Financial Aid programs.
    • The mentors and mentees also meet one-on-one on or near Columbia’s campus to further develop skills useful in their college career.
